I enthusiastically recommend Total Restoration!! I came with a long list of improvements for my newly purchased 1850s row home. Alex consulted with me on what would work and look best, and he provided a detailed and competitive estimate. From helping us to select and install reclaimed hardwoods (and get the best deal!) to lovely interior painting to stretching and cleaning carpets, and many many smaller fixes, Alex and his team really made our new old home pop and feel like ours. They are professional and responsive, and the work is great.

When our hot water tank exploded and flooded the basement, Alex truly came to our rescue. From start to finish, he handled everything with professionalism and care. He clearly explained each step of the process, so I never had to question what was being done. During the cleanup, he also discovered asbestos and immediately addressed it safely and efficiently. Alex was amazing! I feel so lucky to have found him through a quick emergency search when I had a sewer backup while I was out of town. I let him in my house remotely and he took care of everything on his own and worked directly with my insurance. The whole process so so smooth and he gave great advice on next steps too.
